Overseal Parish Council subscribes to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's independent authority set up to uphold information rights in the public interest, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy for individuals.

The Parish Council aims to publish as much information as it can online, but some items may only be available in hard copy and some information the Council is entitled to withhold.
